Noble Hearts Counseling
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference. ~Virginia Satir
Mission statement: “To discover the strengths of my clients and empower them to utilize those strengths during time of difficulties”
Since 1996 I have been working with children, families and couples. I have worked with countless children, parents, families, teachers, doctors, social workers and other professionals during my years as a Marriage Family Therapist Intern and then as a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist.
Coming to the realization that you need help for your child, yourself or for you and your partner can be scary and anxiety producing. We often view the need for help as a sign of weakness or as sign that something is bad or wrong.
I use a strength based approach in my work. My goal is to help my clients identify their strengths and use those strengths to make positive changes in their lives. I believe that we all have noble intent behind our actions, meaning we want to make choices that will enhance our lives but emotional pain and life events sometimes causes us to make choices or engage in ways that are maladaptive or cause us more pain.
